I was a pallbearer and close friend to Denice Shaw, who's funeral I attended last week. I knew 'Dee' as a teenager growing up as a outlaw biker in Gorton in the 60's. I remember Rev Gray calling round to try and teach us the error of our ways but I was not for listening at the time. I did however listen to the words of Rev Gray at Dee's funeral and have the utmost respect for the man. His words brought humour and dignity into a very sad occasion and left the family and wellwishers chuckling on his version of the 23rd Psalm. Respect and good wishes Cyd Jones (Geronimo).

I am humbled that David agreed to become our Squadron Padre. He is a wonderful person and human being and the every cadet takes great inspiration from every visit he makes to our Unit. Sam Young (Flt Lt and Commanding Officer @ 317 Squadron, Failsworth & Newton Heath, Air Training Corps)

Interesting read but can I just mention that there's an error on the page about weddings. Methodist ministers are usually auhorised to conduct weddings (in certain churches) without a registrar present.
